I started this blog when my mother passed into the Lord's arms on January 11th 2009 to keep my family updated on my father who joined my mother and Jesus in heaven on July 11th 2009. I now use it to post things I think are interesting to share as well as to share God's Word and Love and what a work He is doing in me.

Missing Mom

Today has been a hard day, going to get the shot stirred up some memories because the last time we went Mom was with us. Although he is feeling better pain wise he is really missing her today. He woke up from his nap saying he had a bad dream that he was looking for her all over and couldn't find her. He use to have the same dream when he went back in the Navy after they were married. He would really like to hear from people and if at all possible please come to visit. On days like this I'm of no use, because I can't look at him and see the hurt in his eyes and then be in the same room (my heart breaks for him). Sharon if you are reading this by chance he also said he had a dream that when he woke up from his nap that you and Ernie were here to visit.

I hope you all find in your heart to either give him a call or stop by to visit. I know that we are far away, but you can also invite us to come visit you.
