Last night was eventful after Dad had gone to bed, Sam and I were still awake and about an hour after Dad went to bed we heard this loud beeping sound coming from the oxygen concentrator. I ran in and turned if off to try and reset it, but it didn't work Sam said try a different plug. I said why would a different plug matter it still turns on, I told him to go put Grandpa on a portable tank until we figure out what's going on then after a few attempts of turning it off and on checking the hose and filters I called Apria they transferred me to a "Technician" whose first words were did you try a different plug? I said no why would a different plug matter, but I tried it and to no avail. The technician says he doesn't have any concentrators with him that he would have to go to the office but that he could get us one in the morning. Needless to say we had to keep him on the portables all night changing the tank every 3 hours, Sam got that job and I checked to make sure he did it. I called Apria again this morning and ordered a emergency tank that lasts up to 40 hours and they said the would get us a new concentrator as soon as possible.
Dad is doing fine and back to scratching his Bingo cards, I had to go get a prescription filled at Walgreens and while I was there waiting I found him the "Loud and Clear" hearing device, and it works.
