Today Dad said that he was feeling weak when he woke up he said Mom came to him last night and said it wouldn't be long before he was with her. But after a big breakfast then saying goodbye to Raymond and Donna, he took a bath and said he felt a lot better. He is back to doing scratchers and if anyone is around and is interested in a game of cards he is always willing to play. Kay and Dolly are still visiting and he loves all of the attention ( if he could have it his way all 11 of his kids would be here.) We will miss Donna and Raymond but hope to see them again real soon.
Dad has been retaining quite a bit of fluid but with all of the diurectics they give him it keeps him busy using his (urinal) tank as he calls it, we are trying to keep an eye on his salt and fluid intake because he has been having a lot of swelling around his ankles and legs which also makes his heart work harder. He loves vistors and phone calls even if he doesn't quite know who you are or what your saying. Again continued prayer is always needed.
