I started this blog when my mother passed into the Lord's arms on January 11th 2009 to keep my family updated on my father who joined my mother and Jesus in heaven on July 11th 2009. I now use it to post things I think are interesting to share as well as to share God's Word and Love and what a work He is doing in me.

He is Risen!!! Happy Resurrection Sunday


He has Risen indeed! "Christianity begins where religion ends ...with the resurrection." "The Good News is about his Son, Jesus... he was shown to be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 1:3-4

So the Bible record makes it very clear that Jesus was saying that all His claims would be substantiated – validated – proven BY HIS RESURRECTION!

  • He claimed to FORGIVE SINS.
  • He claimed to BE GOD.
  • He claimed to be THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN.

Sorry there was no post yesterday as we were on our road trip, we didn't make it to the cemetery even though it was the 3rd month anniversary of Mom's departure to heaven, we can celebrate that we know she is in heaven with Jesus. Dad had a great visit with Sam, Cory, and Michael, he got to play all the cards he wanted ate junk food and went cruising the neighborhood to visit friends and old places.

We made it home late and he went straight to bed (after his prayers) and slept like a rock, he woke up at 7:30 am and said "I woke up early but I'm rested". I'd say he had a good day yesterday.


Make it a great day, I have very fond memories of Easter and our newly made Easter dresses with bonnets and our wonderful Easter baskets filled with all sorts of goodies! Make your own Easter memories with your families,
