Chest Pain

Dad gave us a little scare this morning, at around 11:45 am I was in the shower and Dolly came running  in saying that Dad was having chest pain. I jumped out of the shower and had Dolly give him a nitroglycerin pill and told her to wait 5 mins if the pain doesn't go away give him another while I got dressed, I gave him another one and a dose of his morphine which is .25mgs to see if that would help. I called and told the Nurse what was going on and she said don't give him anymore nitro because he has low blood pressure wait 10 minutes after the morphine and if he still has pain give him another dose. He still had pain so we gave him the next dose and 10 minutes later he said the pain was starting to go away. We fed him lunch and then he laid down for a nap, I stayed in the room with him and shortly after he laid down he had more pain so I gave him another dose of morphine and called the Nurse. She said that I did exactly what I needed to do and the pain could be coming from his lungs, indigestion, heart or a number of different things and that she would come over if it got worse. He is now resting and I gave him a breathing treatment and he said he felt a lot better, but the pain was,'t completely gone. David came in to check on him and he told him if I lay down and fall i sleep I hope the Lords takes my soul. He is resting right now, I keep you posted if anything changes.
