Happy Cinco de Mayo to all of you, and if you do celebrate please be safe. Why it is celebrated;
- Cinco de Mayo is a date of great importance for the Mexican and Chicano communities. It marks the victory of the Mexican Army over the French at the Battle of Puebla.
So there is your history lesson for the day. =]
I took Dad to see Dr Gonzales to get a medical release and an EKG for his cataract surgery yesterday, he says he looks good and that there should be no problem for him to have the eye surgery as long as he stays stable.
So far all is well and we take it one day at time.......
Make it a great day!!!!
