a little update

Last Friday was the 15th and David has been sober for 3 months. He really has been doing good and him and Aunt Ces are like two peas in a pod. They both love to go to the Casino, so that is where they are most nights.

Sunday was a special day at the Pueblo, there was a dance called the hand dance that they do once every 10 years, so it was nice to be able to see it. They will be doing it again on Thursday and then every so many days for the rest of the month, the first one was open to the public but the rest will only be for the residents of the pueblo.

Tomorrow we expect snow, I know that it has been raining most everywhere else but we should be getting snow.

I have started a bible study a safari through Daniel, it is pretty exciting so far.

another change

The Cable company called this morning and told us they gave us another phone number, so here it is 951-282-2232. Apparently they changed it and forgot to tell the cable guy, so for now that is the new phone number unless they call us and change it again.

Yesterday Dad had to recuperate after his long night at the baseball game, he ate breakfast went to the eye Dr., then came home and laid down until 2:00pm he then  got up ate a little after his treatment and laid back down at 6:00pm, he slept all the way through until 8:27am.

He is still glad he went though! Update on Jolene's baby boy he is in the hospital with pneumonia. Please keep him in prayer and I will update if there is any news.

Nurse visit today

The Nurse was real happy with the way dad's doing, and says that we're doing a good job.

I asked dad if he could say something to everyone what would he say, he said "I hope your happy and to live each day to the fullest". That's it, I thought he would say come visit or send bingo cards, just goes to show you, that you never know what is on someones mind. it did my heart good to hear that, I'm humbled.

Well, Baby is in San Diego and is planning to come over on Saturday or Sunday, we will be going to Ina's on Saturday so I guess it will be Sunday.

He's bored with us so, hopefully some of you can come and visit him, we took him to visit the Whitehurst (Lou's parents), he played a couple of hands of cards and we were on our way.

As he had a treatment and lunch to do.
