Yesterday as I was moving to Long Beach, Sam and I (Michael) stopped by to visit with Grandma at her grave site. We were surprised to see they have already placed her new headstone and it looks really good. It had fresh muddy finger prints so it must have been placed very recently. Sam and I had the honor of being the first ones to wash it down and shine it up for her.
On a lighter note, we all know grandma was a very stylish lady and always knew what looked good both in what she wore and how she decorated her house. So we thought it was humorous that her neighbor's family at the mortuary brought some very tacky white roses dipped in blue ink. I thought grandma would definitely have something to say about that!
