Welcome to my place

I started this blog when my mother passed into the Lord's arms on January 11th 2009 to keep my family updated on my father who joined my mother and Jesus in heaven on July 11th 2009. I now use it to post things I think are interesting to share as well as to share God's Word and Love and what a work He is doing in me.

The beginning of a long weekend!

Yesterday Dad had a low grade fever and when he took his nap he woke up soaking wet, I think his fever broke the nurse said his antibiotics will work for 10 days after he took them. Hopefully he is on the mend....He is anxiously waiting to see the new great grand babies!

Erik came by yesterday and brought grandpa some tickets and he won $25.00 on one ticket (Thanks Erik) he also played cards for awhile before he had to take off.


Today is the first day of Memorial (formerly known as Decoration Day, it commemorates U.S. men and women who died while in the military service) weekend and I hope you all have a safe Holiday weekend and remember those who have lost their lives to gives us our freedom!
