I started this blog when my mother passed into the Lord's arms on January 11th 2009 to keep my family updated on my father who joined my mother and Jesus in heaven on July 11th 2009. I now use it to post things I think are interesting to share as well as to share God's Word and Love and what a work He is doing in me.

Relaxing, Resting, Recouping

Yesterday was a day of rest, Dad slept in till 8:30 am and took a full nap something he hasn't done in awhile. The Nurse came by and said he looks good he has a little cough so she said to give him Robitussin DM, and that the weather,smog, pollen could be causing it.

I called the mechanic about the van and he gave me an estimate of $539.00, so I called Jimmy and he said he would come by on Wednesday to see if he could do it I also spoke with Joey and he said it is a fairly easy job just time consuming. I e-mailed Joe some pictures and he said he would put both of the cars on "craigslist" to see what we could get for them.

On Saturday, Rose gave Dad 5 bingo scratchers and believe or not he just finished scratching them yesterday. Donna sent him some money to buy more tickets so with his winning tickets and money David went and got him some more tickets which he is doing now.

Tomorrow Dolly leaves to go home her flight leaves at 1:30 pm, so I figure she needs to be there by 12:30 and hopefully it won't be too warm cause I have to take the Pontiac which doesn't have air BLECH!
